This house was probably built for Alfred Haldeman and his wife Alice on a lot purchased from Verena Tauton. Mrs. Minnie Patterson, the widow of Alexander Patterson, purchased the house in 1913. Apparently the Haldemans lived in the house again 1913 through 1915. Mrs. Patterson is shown as a resident of the house in 1917 and the property stayed in the Patterson family through the 1930. Later residents were James and Hazel Patterson. See 1978 photograph.
