In 1934 Victor LaDue built this home for his parents on five acres of family property. In 1946, the house was moved to its present one-acre location when the entrance to McKay School was constructed. Maxine LaDue Gibbs and her husband Clay raised their five children here. An orchard of 40 trees produced several fruits. This very attractive home and orchard stills presents a view of what the neighborhood looked like half a century ago.
