Matthews, 2010 Nebraska Street NE, (LL)



This property was purchased by Hugh V. Matthews in 1889 and sold to David Matthews in 1895. In the 1896 Salem Directory he was residing at the site of this house. In 1935 Victor and Maybelle Woodfield bought the house. It was later divided into apartments. After many years of alteration, this NEN neighborhood house is now being restored to a more nearly original appearance by the present owners.
