Gray, 3251 Bluff Avenue SE, (D)

This International style residence was the 1953 retirement home for builder Paul Gray and his wife. Mrs. Gray died two years later and Mr. Gray sold the house to Viola and George Corrigan. When they moved in, George was already in poor health and he died in 1971. Viola remarried twice and lived in the house 43 years, walking 2-3 miles a day around the neighborhood. The present owners bought the house from Viola, once again a widow, in 1998.
