Boon Brick Store/Treasury Building, 888 Liberty Street NE, (NR)

John D. Boon(1817-1864) came to Oregon in 1845 and was the first State Printer. He was a Methodist minister, a Salem businessman, and active in early state government. His store served as the state treasury at one time, giving the present business its name. See more photographs of Boon Store and House.
