Wild/Erb, 573 19th Street NE, (LL)

Ira Erb came to Salem in 1890 from Ohio. He was a Civil War veteran and made his living as a carpenter. He and his wife Hattie are recorded as living here in 1902. He worked many years for various contractors, including Front Street businesses. Mrs. Erb died in 1941 and this house was sold.
